Hi, I’m María Elisa Valdés and I decided to create this blog to archive some of the things I’ve studied.
Currently my area of interest is complex geometry and I’m working on Fields of Moduli, which is the smallest field where you can define a Riemann surface.
This November, I will defend my thesis for the Master’s Degree in science, mathematics mention in Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Valparaíso, Chile.
My thesis is titled “Field of Moduli for generalized Fermat curves of type (p,4)”
guided by Prof. Rubén A. Hidalgo.
